The Trackstar S5 by Teletrac-Navman (formerly Trafficmaster), operates with driver recognition tags, which means that the tracking system will disarm when a registered tag is within proximity of the vehicle. However, if the vehicle is moved without the tag present, the system will alert the 24/7 Control Centre.
The Trackstar smartphone app allows the user to access journey history, set geofence alerts and view the last known location of their vehicle. The Trackstar S5 device also features a built-in backup battery, integrated motion sensor and is fully transferable to a new vehicle.
